The brilliant, quirky, individualistic Sara Bareilles

Have you ever been to a concert and you just connect to someone? The first time I saw Sara Bareilles live I was blown away. She wasn’t afraid to be herself, and let her music express who she really was.

She still continues this today. In her latest single, “I Choose You” she shows that she isn’t afraid to fall in love. You believe in something you may have not believed in before, or you begin to believe in it again. That thing, is love. It’s a difficult task to be committed to that one person, but when you find that person, love is simple. Yet as Bareilles states, “everything changes”. You get butterflies in your stomach, you smile more, and you are willing to share your life with someone else through the compromises you make with each other. That thing called love is extraordinary, and sometimes a once in a life time opportunity for “a lifelong love letter”.

Through this song, Bareilles tries to connect with all the romantics in the room, and you can’t help to fall into her spell when she sings this, and most of her songs. Overall, don’t be afraid to fall in love with someone, because it could be the only love you ever find. Take a chance, because, as Bareilles says, love can lift you up and create something beautiful in your life. Once you find it, hold onto it, and never let it go.

So until next time, dance, live, and love music.
