Hey music lovers. Is the news true? Is Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay really joining the hit NBC show “The Voice”? I have one answer for you, and that answer is YES.
Martin will be a guest mentor on “The Voice”. This was announced via Social Media yesterday after “The Voice” aired.
Today.com states that Martin will help all four coaches (Adam Lavigne, Shakira, Blake Shelton, and Usher) as he is set to begin this epic journey on March 31st.
With a new mentor, there is a new routine. Today.com also states that on March 31st, there will be the Battles round two. Here, the remaining artists will face each other singing the same song. This will be replacing the Knockout Round, where last season the artists same different songs and a winner of the round was chosen.
Martin will be advising these young aspiring artists on their vocals, stage performance and presence, along with helping the mentees find their strengths and embellishing them.
Going along with this, Coldplay’s latest album “Ghost Stories” is set to be released in May of this year.
Need some Coldplay songs to keep you going until then? I highly recommend listening to any of their old music, but my number one go to Coldplay song is “The Scientist”. It’s a slow song to remind you to cherish all that you have in life. If there’s a bump in the road, remember the beginning of the journey. go back to the simpler things in life and never give up on hope. Hope is what keeps us going and never be afraid to be vulnerable in order to get what you love.
So until next time, dance, live, and love music.
